Greetings guys and gals - tomorrow I start my fun-filled vacation in Chicago. Part of the time will be a music conference and otherwise relaxing and enjoying myself. Two stops on my itinerary will the the Art Institute of Chicago - the source for the paintings in the old Milton-Bradley game - Masterpiece - the Art Auction Game.

My other stop will be the Colleen Moore Fairy Castle at the Museum of Science and Industry. When I was a teenager I read an article about the Fairy Castle in my grandmother’s AARP Magazine. On my first visit to Chi-town, I had to go see it. That visit was almost 30 years ago. Time to see it again!

In the words of General Douglas MacArthur — “I shall return.”

Article on Law Librarians Thursday, Jul 6 2006

There’s an article about Legal Libraries in the July, 2006 edition of The American Lawyer. The article is Beyond the Books, by Alan Cohen.

The article gives a pretty good breakdown on what law librarians and other corporate Libraries are seeing.
